Kajian ini menganalisis cabaran dan prospek industri hotel halal di negara majoriti Muslim (Malaysia) dan negara minoriti Muslim (Singapura), dengan tujuan untuk memahami faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi perkembangan sektor ini dalam konteks yang berbeza. Industri hotel halal semakin penting dalam memenuhi permintaan pelancong Muslim yang mencari perkhidmatan yang patuh syariah. Namun, industri ini menghadapi cabaran unik di setiap negara, seperti perbezaan dalam peraturan dan piawaian halal, persepsi pengguna, serta sokongan institusi. Kajian ini menggunakan kaedah perpustakaan kualitatif dan analisis tematik untuk mengenal pasti tema utama berkaitan cabaran dan prospek sektor hotel halal di Malaysia dan Singapura. Dengan menganalisis dokumen seperti garis panduan dan polisi kerajaan, kajian ini mengenal pasti cabaran seperti pematuhan piawaian halal dan persepsi pelanggan serta prospek seperti permintaan pasaran dan sokongan kerajaan. Perbandingan antara kedua-dua negara diharap memberikan pandangan mendalam tentang faktor yang mempengaruhi perkembangan industri hotel halal di negara majoriti dan minoriti Muslim.Hasil kajian menunjukkan bahawa Malaysia, sebagai negara majoriti Muslim, memiliki kelebihan dari segi sokongan kerajaan dan pensijilan halal yang diiktiraf, namun masih menghadapi cabaran dalam pengurusan kos dan kesedaran pengguna. Sebaliknya, Singapura, walaupun berstatus negara minoriti Muslim, menunjukkan prospek pertumbuhan yang tinggi dengan sokongan dasar yang mesra halal dan permintaan pelancongan halal yang semakin meningkat. Kajian ini menyimpulkan bahawa pendekatan bersepadu antara kerajaan, pengusaha hotel, dan masyarakat diperlukan untuk memajukan sektor ini, dengan penekanan pada penyesuaian strategi yang sesuai mengikut konteks sosio-ekonomi setiap negara.
