LMS Design and Blended Learning-Based Learning Management among Master of Education Students

Selaras dengan pelaksanaan Dasar e-Pembelajaran Negara (Depan) (2011), institusi pengajian tinggi telah memberi penekanan kepada Pembelajaran dalam mod Blended Learning. Pembelajaran dalam mod Blended Learning adalah pembelajaran yang menggandingkan kaedah tradisional dan kaedah atas talian (e-pembelajaran). Kajian ini bertujuan untuk mengenal pasti hubungan antara Reka bentuk LMS (Learning Management System) dengan Pengurusan Pembelajaran Berasaskan Blended Learning. Pendekatan kajian kuantitatif dalam kajian ini adalah berbentuk deskriptif dengan menggunakan kaedah tinjauan. Populasi kajian ini adalah 105 orang pelajar Sarjana Pendidikan. Persampelan bertujuan (purposive sampling) digunakan untuk memilih sampel kajian. Soal selidik digunakan sebagai instrumen utama kajian untuk menjawab persoalan kajian. Item-item untuk soal selidik diadaptasi dari kajian lepas dan mempunyai tahap kebolehpercayaan yang tinggi iaitu 0.85. Data yang dikumpul dianalisis dengan menggunakan statistik deskriptif dan inferensi. Dapatan kajian ini menunjukkan tahap Pengurusan Pembelajaran Berasaskan Blended Learning berada pada tahap tinggi Dapatan kajian menunjukkan bahawa terdapat hubungan yang signifikan antara Reka bentuk LMS dengan Pengurusan Pembelajaran Berasaskan Blended Learning. Dapatan ini menjelaskan bahawa perancangan pengajaran secara talian perlu menitikberatkan faktor Reka bentuk LMS supaya dapat meningkatkan Pengurusan Pembelajaran Berasaskan Blended Learning dalam kalangan pelajar Sarjana Pendidikan.
In line with the implementation of the National e-Learning Policy (Home) (2011) institutions of higher learning have placed emphasis on Blended Learning mode. Blended Learning mode is learning that combines traditional methods and online methods (e-learning). The aim of study is to identify the relationship between LMS Design and Blended Learning-Based Learning Management. The quantitative research approach in this study is using descriptive survey method. The population of this study is 105 Master of Education students. Purposive sampling was used to select sample of the study. Questionnaires were used as the main instrument of this study to answer the research questions. The items for the questionnaire were adapted from previous studies and have a high level of reliability of 0.85. The data collected were analyzed using descriptive and inferential statistics. The findings of this study indicate that the level of Blended Learning-Based Learning Management is high. The findings of the study indicate that there is a significant relationship between LMS Design and Blended Learning-Based Learning Management. These findings explain that the planning of online teaching should emphasize the LMS Design factor in order to improve Blended Learning-Based Learning Management among Master of Education students.
